How cool is this? Dubai has been named the gelato capital of the Middle East, so head to Burj Park next month to taste and vote for the No 1 ice cream in the region.
The Gelato World Tour is coming to the UAE from February 13-15, and 16 “gelato artisans” from the Middle East will compete in Dubai.
There are seven other cities staging similar contests, including Melbourne, Valencia and Rome. The winner of the grand title, Best Gelato in the World, will be decided in a finale held in Rimini, Italy, later this year.
The World Gelato Tour is at Burj Park on February 13, 14 and 15. There will be lessons and workshops on the art of making gelato, and dozens of ice cream flavours to test and enjoy.
