The latest restaurant to open its doors for business along The Boulevard in downtown Dubai is House of Curry. It’s the first of two branches to launch this year, with the second set to fire up its ovens in March along Jumeirah Beach Residence.
Food wise, we’re talking traditionally prepared Indian dishes, with a twist. On the menu, crowd-pleasers like Tandoori chicken and Roghan josh can be found next to rare coastal dishes from southern fishing villages.
Head chef Uday Nair promises his team won’t be compromising on flavour, even when dishing up their low-fat options.
“We don’t want all our curries to taste the same, and we definitely don’t drown our curries in cream.” he says “The restaurant even has a small section on the menu for the calorie conscious.”
House of Curry (Downtown) is located on the Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard and is open daily from 12pm to 12am, for reservations call: 04-3469740 or go to www.houseofcurry.me
