Award-winning Japanese restaurant Zuma is now open for gastronomes in the capital.
After bringing the cuisine to Dubai in 2009, restauranteur Rainer Becker has expanded his chain with the second restaurant at The Galleria – Sowwah Square on Al Marayah Island in Abu Dhabi.
The interiors of the new restaurant are based on four natural materials – stone, glass, wood and steel- a signature style at Zuma venues all over the world. Guests will be encouraged to participate in the Japanese tradition of izakaya, or shared eating and drinking, for a holistic experience.
Dubai’s resident DJ Adrien Callier will be performing at the Abu Dhabi venue regularly, along with DJ Margarita Deviatko, who will also be playing in Dubai.
Zuma Abu Dhabi is the seventh international restaurant in the chain, with the eight opening in New York later this year.
Zuma’s Ebisu Business Lunch is priced at Dh140. For bookings, visit zumarestaurant.com , or call 02-4015900.
